Brunswick and Smith street (the next major street down - but you have to stay around the top half) are great. Also try Retro star in the city (Upstairs Nicholas building - google it) and chapel street in Windsor (catch a train to windsor station)

There are a few great ones in the back streets in St.Kilda too - Go to hunter gatherer on Ackland street and the staff there will be able to point out where to go - there are four other good ones in that area.

It's actually not that cold here at the moment but you will need a jacket at night. What is his band called? I would love to check them out.

Ah thankyou Hollie! *scribbles all down in moleskine*

I'm just disappointed because I brought a beautiful Wheels + Doll Baby dress and I still haven't had the chance to wear, I was hoping to wear it to one of their gigs down there : (

They're called Mother+Son, you'll find there music at www.myspace.com/motherandsonmusic

They've got 4 gigs in Melb, i'll be at the first two, which the thursday night one is at Oldbar with ThisWar (who are amazing) and Dead Man on Deck who are also amazing. The friday night gig is at the Tote with the Cheats, and a few other bands - i forget! Those are the two i'll be down for.

If you come either of those nights come and say hello! or the others go and say hello to Bodie, i'm sure he'd love to make some lovely Melbourne friends!

Thanks again!

xx
