thrift-a-lot.

 

Let it be known I am a self asserted thrift-aholic. So when I met my partner, Bodie, + found out He was also a thrift-addict, well, it was a match made in a op-shop (our idea of heaven). I get itchy feet (probably not the best choice of descriptive words, for this blog anyway) if I don't scope my local favorites every two to three days. Any longer, I'm suffering mass withdrawals. Any less, I'm stuck in limbo over the same pair of size 6 pixie boots that I put down the day before, and end up buying them just so I don't go home empty-handed (I'm a size 8). I figure I can give them to one of my friends who IS a size 6, except I just end up stuffing them into my overstocked wardrobe, and try them on every week for the rest of my life in desperate hope my feet would have shrunk overnight (empathize on the desperate).

Todays buys;

1. Frame - with someones' lovely winter landscape, but I plan on demolishing the work + using the frame, or defacing it.
2. Sailor dress - one word - banging.
3. Floral number - adorable cut, the fabric reminds me of wallpaper we had in our old house in the 80s'.
4. - High waisted shorts - I can't believe I payed $80 for a lee pair last week *sighz*
5. - The holidays EP - the design for the cover is proper.
6. - A book on squash - complete with the funniest 80'sique pictures.
7. - Lee mens jeans - size 28 perfect skinny legs for Bodie.
8. - A grey vest with a semi-gingham - mint.
